For the seventh day of my thirty-day painting challenge, I painted a little Edelweiss flower. This isn't a flower I would normally think of painting, but the reference picture somehow spoke to me. I want to try new things and develop my skills during this challenge, so choosing a reference that would stretch me a little felt very fitting.
It is a floral alla prima oil painting on paper, about 19x14 cm big. This artwork is not framed.
